  Monday 15th Today was our audition day for our end of year show one flew over the cuckoos nest. I did a lot of preparation for this audition seen as we found out the play in February, i went straight to work finding the right monologue. I chose a monologue from father inside which was a NYT production in 2008. the monologue was from a character called brownie and he talks about his father who the does not have a good bond with just like chief from one flew... I think it went really good because Kelly love my performances during it and she know i have a great understanding of the play which is good and all I can do now is hope for the best. For the rest of the day, I start to do unit 8 our final unit in year one.  Tuesday 16th Today we finish up the auditions and start a massive read through of both scripts. TASK 2 Task 2.0   For my preparation for the one flew over the cuckoo's nest auditions, I firstly need to find a monologue. Luckily, I had a book that an old drama teacher gave me which had over 75 monologues. So, after looking over many monologues I found this one from a play called inside. It is about a workshop with 7 men who are in prison and they’ve either had issues for providing for a child or missing a father figure in their lives. My monologue character's name is Brownie and he is the “dickhead” of the group always taking the piss out of everyone else's problems but in this scene he is backed into a corner to confront his problems with his only mate Tommy.
